Students interested in gaining international education from universities and colleges
registered at RAK Academic Zone should first obtain a visa. In this section,
you will find all the documents, checklists and forms related to attaining student visas.
Applicant must be a student in university registered under RAKEZ
The university must be eligible to apply for student visa
Documents Required:
Step 1: When applying for your visa:
Applicant’s passport with validity of at least 6 months.
A recent passport-sized, color
photograph
with white background.
Official letter from the college describing course fee, program/educational course title and course duration.
If applicant is from Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, copy of applicant’s home country national identity card is required.
Step 2: When applying for Emirates ID:
Original utilized visa of the applicant.
A valid medical report, issued by a UAE government hospital.

8 Business days including:
3 business days for Entry Permit.
5 business days for Emirates ID & Residence Approval.
Applicant must be inside the UAE to proceed with the visa renewal.
The residence visa should be valid for less than 6 months.
