In this section, we present to you all the required forms, documents and checklists for applying
for a UAE residence visa for your dependants including family members and maids, renewing the
current one, re-applying for an entry permit and cancelling the visa.
If the sponsor is employee with a minimum salary of AED 4,000 per month or AED 3,000 along with accommodation allowance.
Documents Required:
Step 1: When applying for your visa:
Applicant’s passport with validity of at least 6 months.
Copy of sponsor’s passport along with the residence visa.
A recent passport-sized, color
photograph
with white background.
Copy of valid and attested tenancy contract/property ownership certificate under sponsor name.

If sponsor is employee, attested employment work contract by RAKEZ is required.
If applicant is from Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, copy of applicant’s national identity card is required.
Step 2: When applying for Emirates ID:
A copy of RAKEZ visa with an entry stamp OR RAKEZ visa with change status stamp.
A valid medical report, issued by a UAE government hospital.
If the sponsor is employee, he/she must have a minimum salary of AED 4,000
per month or AED 3,000 along with accommodation allowance.

Step 2: When applying for Emirates ID:
A copy of RAKEZ visa with an entry stamp OR RAKEZ visa with change status stamp.
If applicant is son of the sponsor and above 24 years old, then he must be enrolled in any university or college inside UAE.
If the sponsor is employee, he/she must have a minimum salary of AED 4,000 per month or AED 3,000 along with accommodation allowance.

Applicant’s passport with validity of at least 6 months.
Copy of sponsor’s passport along with the residence visa.
Copy of mother’s passport with validity of at least 6 months.

If applicant is from Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, copy of applicant’s national identity card is required.
If sponsor is mother:
Copy of father’s passport with validity of at least 6 months.
NOC from father to sponsor the child.
Note -If father resides outside UAE, NOC attested from the ministry of foreign
affairs of father's nationality is required (translated in Arabic by legal translators)
Step 2: When applying for Emirates ID:
Original utilized visa of the applicant
A valid medical report, issued by a UAE government hospital
The sponsor must be inside the UAE during the visa process.
If the sponsor has not sponsored any dependent in Ras Al Khaimah in the past, a fee of AED 400, excluding VAT, will be applicable.
Additional deposit of AED 3310 is applicable for each applicant if the sponsor is investor/partner (fees is excluding 5% VAT).
Copy of attested certificate from the UAE Ministry of Education if the son is 24 years old and above
(approval from immigration is required and will have only one-year visa), additional deposit amount
of AED 5,175 will be applicable in case the university is not accredited by Ministry of Education.

9 Business days including:
4 business days for Entry Permit.

Important Note
The sponsor must be inside the UAE during the visa process.
A new deposit of AED 3,310 will be applicable on visa renewal if the sponsor is investor/partner
(fees is excluding 5% VAT). If the deposit fees paid previously on visa was AED 1,500;
it will be refunded as per the immigration approval.
